Peter (Jason Segel) is a struggling musician who finds his world turned upside down when his TV celebrity girlfriend, Sarah Marshall (Kristen Bell) dumps him for a tragically hip rock star. It’s the hysterically funny look low far one man will go to forget a girl and all the fun he finds along the way!.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall is another addition to the Apatow collection. It’s not as funny as Knocked Up or as clever as Superbad by it does the job. If you’re a fan of the previously mentioned then you will enjoy this one too

Written by Jason Segel it a good film but from the commentary its seems that its more autobiographic. It incorporate many of Jason’s own habit and experiences. As they mention in the commentary Jason’s life seems like it would be a funny sitcom or reality show. As he almost lives a surreal life camera following his every moments might be just as funny.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall as in life balance the romance and comedy excellently. He found the funny moments in life that we all have. You know its going to be funny but its the moments that are funny that are interesting.

The DVD has the standard deleted/extended scenes, gag reels, and the standard Apatow feature Line-O-Rama. There are also three other featurettes. The highlight of special features is the commentary. Trailers on the DVD are The Scorpion King 2: Rise of a Warrior, Leatherheads, Burn After Reading, The Incredible Hulk.

I give Forgetting Sarah Marshall out 4 of 5.
