‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest’ is the continuing adventures of Captain Jack Sparrow (Depp), Will Turner (Bloom) and Elizabeth Swann (Knightley). This time around Captain Jack must fight off his impendent demise at the hands of Dave Jones (Nighy).

This outing for the pirates is a good sequel to the first. I personal like the first better. I liked Depp’s portray better in Dead Man Chest. He fully understood his character this time around and new what worked for Jack Sparrow.

‘Dead Man’s Chest’ is an adventure on grand scale and just as special effects filled. Nighy’s Davey Jones is special effects at its best; looking at Davey Jones is a marvel of the mind. I don’t think anything will top the special effects of Black Pearl Curse though. I can’t wait to see what effects the bring to the final one.

The story this time around is more of a pirate adventure. It had more of the open sea and insight into the pirate’s life. It is a good setup to the third final. But what was supposed to be a surprise ending I figure out in the middle of the film. This was also the hook that made me what to spend another 2 and half hours for the end of this tale.
